Meet the Owners

Working Hard for the Community

We would just like to take a few moments to introduce us as the Owners and Developers of Stecoah Valley RV Resort. We are Tom & Sally Mere and Bob and Shirley Morrison. The two families have known each other for over 15 years and share the same passion for camping and enjoying the outdoors.

We are Bob & Shirley Morrison. We are true “Florida Crackers” having resided in North Fort Myers since 1948. We have three sons and three grandsons. As Shirley and I were growing up our families enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors. Throughout the years, we camped in tents, pop-up’s, travel trailer’s, and now our motorhome. We have been camping with the Mere’s and other friends at Vogel State Park, Georgia for two weeks every summer since 1988.

Shirley and I discovered Stecoah Valley through a friend who had purchased land in Graham County. We were taken with the natural beauty of the Valley, the abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities and the warmth and kindness of the residents. We hope that you will come visit our new resort and discover for yourself the magic of Stecoah Valley.

Sally and Tom Mere

Hi! We are the Mere's. Tom grew up in Ohio and Sally (Solweig) grew up in Germany. We met in Germany, got married 42 years ago an raised 3 fine Children ( 2 Daughters & 1 Son ). We are proud grandparents of 7 ( 5 Boys & 2 Girls - all of them love to camp ). In1970 we moved to Florida. We have camped all our lives, starting in tents, pop ups, trailers & finally motorhomes. We met Shirley & Bobby Morrison while camping and discovered that we only lived a stones throw away from each other. Our plan is to turn this beautiful piece of land into a fine RV Resort that we - you and all the Stecoah Valley Folks will be proud of.
